Handmade Christmas

My plan for Christmas this year is a handmade one.

We already have a few things put aside for the kids that we’ve bought throughout the year, but I tend to be a bit of a “go over board” mummy, and I wish there were more presents to go under the tree.

Though I’m thinking that money is not actually going to stretch that far this year.

That’s where the plan comes in.

Instead of purchasing more presents and decorations I’m going to use what I already have in the house to create personal gifts and decorations.

A few years ago I made my husband and one of his besties matching bracelets that say Turk and JD.

Now this might not mean anything to you, but if you are a ridiculous Scrubs fan {which we are} then you might recall this song:

I found this bracelet, the remembrance of the “guy love”, while tidying up our hobby room yesterday afternoon, and it brought back so many happy memories.

That’s my goal, to create happy memories while saving money and using up the materials I already have handy in the house.

I’m psyched for it, Handmade Christmas here I come.
